Job Interview

frostfoxJust got back from job interview, think it went okay, his main concern seemed to be my 11 mile commute.
It's shorter than the 14+ mile commute I do now and not down one of the busiest roads in the country (the A56 which connects the M6 to the M56).
It's 1.5K more than I'm on now, if he offers it me, I'll say yes so fast they won't know what hit them.
It also made me realise how difficult and complicated my current job is, I could run their office and their reception with one hand tied behind my back, it's so easy by comparison.
Should know his discision by Wednesday. Fingers crossed.
On a culinary note, the chicken and garlic soup I make last night smells 99.999999% garlic and 0.00000001% chicken...

Date: 2005-01-17 10:50 pm (UTC)I didn't realy want the job before I went for the interview - it's still a bit of a drive to work (down country roads all the way) but they seemed like nice folk and it would be nice to work in the centre of town again, as opposed to an industrial estate. Wilmslow is *quite* a town.

Cooked well in, in a small amount is fine. Just the smell of raw garlic makes me heave and a large amount of garlic in anything "taints" it for me. Yes, I'm a mutant...*
