My big boy struggled madly to get it through the cat flap! He's chirruping at me, he's so proud.

So what is it?

Bird?
Mouse?
Newt?
Frog?
Bullock?

IT'S A BEANIE BABY!!!!!

It's a leopard called Freckles.

So I have to go knocking on all the neighbours doors tomorrow to find out who's it is and apologise?
Or do I play the innocent?

What if he decimates someones prized collection one at a time? It's still got it's tag on, what if it's a rare or valuable one? Or a kids?

I'm living with a cat burglar! The shame, the shame.

Foxy, laughing so hard it hurts!

A HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

*sniff*

[livejournal.com profile] billzilla used to live in a house with a cat called Kazi. Kazi would kill beanie babies in the night and bring them, meowing, to Bill... perhaps to eat, we're not sure. The squirrel was her favorite, but occasionally, as a mark of great favor, she would bring in the red bull.

Oh very good. Now you simply need to redirect his attentions to wallets, purses, and gold jewelry. Then you can finance a trip to America.

Google he say:

Freckles was born on June 3, 1996 and released in 1996. Freckles was retired on December 31, 1998. Freckles' verse reads:
From the trees he hunts prey
In the night and in the day
He's the king of camouflage
Look real close, he's no mirage!

Although I guess there's no fooling some people ...

His RRP is £3.49 but you can get him here for £1.50 - http://www.theinthing.com/cgi-bin/prod_display.cgi?IT-11104114178238170172&150&N&106

Hey, I guess if he was hunting prey, that makes him a legitimate target for Max, eh?

Maybe you should sit Max down in front of the computer and show him the pricier end of the Beanie Baby collectors market :->

The shame, indeed!

I'd suspect that a small flyer campaign around your vicinity will quickly find the true home.

I know that if I lost my Freckles I'd want to know where it had gone. (I should note that we regard Freckles as a family name and call our instance 'Lenny')

Thank God you established it was a Beanie Baby before you you told me it was a leopard.

Oh god we so have to put that in Plokta. We're nearly done: as [livejournal.com profile] drplokta told me last night, he's just looking for a couple of tiny bollocks.

Isn't putting tiny bollocks in your fanzine a violation of [livejournal.com profile] ang_grrr's copyright?

A beanie baby?

Oh. No way am I letting Cally or [livejournal.com profile] galluskit read this: I own a beanie-baby Vulcan, and I treasure it.

Now tell your cat he's a Mighty Hunter and next time bring back a more expensive beanie baby... '-)
From: [identity profile] eleyan.livejournal.com
You'll give him a complex. And he was so proud of it, poor thing. Cat not soft toy. Maybe next time he'll bring in the kid who owned it...

Any objection if I repost this on Cix:cats? I think they'd appreciate it...
