Out of curiosity, did you take the image from anywhwere in particular? I'm reminded of a dragon that I haven't thought of in nearly 30 years. We went on a school trip to a museum/exhibition somewhere and all I remember of it is that dragon (which I tried to copy, but not terribly well) and a poem by William Blake which I also fell in love with.

I remember, when I changed schools, I was delighted to discover that 'Jersualem' was the school song, but this is the first time I've seen anything that reminds me of my dragon.

He's absoulutely beautiful.

Nope, nothing in particular, he's my generic Chinese dragon (as opposed to my other dragons) but I really like the look on his face.
But there are some pencil lines still showing, have to get out the rubber before I varnish him.

Er... um

"...get out the rubber?"
Two people separated by a common language indeed.

But the dragon is absolutely gorgeous. Wish I was going to WorldCon to bid on it. If for some incredibly unlikely reason it fails to sell, please allow me to make an offer on it afterwards. (A hint of what you think it should fetch would also be nice -- to give me a starting point.)
Beautiful work.

Will go in artshow at about £30
I'd sell it on my stall for about £35

I charge about £5 an hour. Yes, I am mad but that's all the market will bare.

Ooh, splendid

Pyrography on sycamore, it's the lid of a box but you can't tell that.. Coloured with liquid acrylics and gold Windsor and Newton ink.

BB sez in swift order:
(1) I WANT IT!
(2) We can't afford it.

How sadly true

What other mediums do you use? And do you sell what you create?

Mostly B&W line drawings, fillos for fanzines and such like.
Currently working on T-shirt for next Discworld convention which will be stunning if it comes out as well as we hope.

Web page is www.plokta.com/woodlore/ but some of the links are broken and Dr P is busy in the worldcon mines at the moment (aren't we all!).
