frostfoxYesterdays unexpected Beer Festival (at the Mark Addy) has made me behind this weekend, but I think everything is on schedule now.
Took the car to have it's wonky bearing greased, left it at the Station and got the train/tram to town.
Beer festival and mates were good, was there all day, the hog roast was good too. We stumbled on a little bar on the way back, a basement bar in what looks like a gent's tiled loo but turned out to be in the kitchens of the Manchester Children's Mission. Brilliant place.

Today I picked up the car up from the station, did what little shopping I needed, stopped for a latte in Costa and did the 3 mile loop from the car park to the canal, back via the boat lift, picking blackberries as I went.
Came home, packed bags,sorted blackberries in to freezing whole and cooking then freezing. Liberated several spiders, washed the odd larvae down the sink.
Now lounging on the sofa with the cat and cup of tea.
Off to Criccieth again tomorrow with Mum, picking her up at Checkpoint Charlie (AKA Tescos Whaley Bridge) 11.30.
