Day two of my little break away
Feb. 5th, 2015 05:28 pmDinner last night was goats cheese mousse with dainty veg, made to look like little cannelloni, really nice, particularly the slightly sweet 'cannelloni' with the mousse. Followed by wild duck with root veg and chestnuts. Chestnuts! The way to my heart! Then coconut panna cotta with mango sorbet and an 'fried egg' made of mango. Heston has reached the village. G&T and pint of Moose, because that's the way we rumble.
After a hearty Welsh breakfast, I went for another wander in the village this morning, nipped into Port, then up to Llyn Mair and walked to Dduallt http://historypoints.org/index.php?page=dduallt-rail-station-and-spiral.
The weather remains glorious.
