Out walking at 10.00, very cold and frosty, beautiful sunshine though. Stopped for 2 minutes silence, watching the ducks taking off into the blue sky against the autumn trees. This is what they died for, this land.

Four hours walking, then changed the bed, sorted out my jumpers, packed away some which are too big, others to go back to Mum for re-knitting (smaller).

Brought in the wood for the week, vacuumed the lounge and stairs, dyed a brown suede pair of boots black (discovered a leak in my rubber glove, I now have a black finger. Oops).

Cooked a Ratatouille and cinnamon apples (while listening to The Archers Omnibus on BBC iPlayer).
Just had another lovely hot bath while finishing 'The Eighth Court' by Mike Shevdon.

Going back to work for a rest.

Photos of autumn under the cut.
