De-fuzzed the Maxwell
Jun. 10th, 2013 08:15 pmThis went down about as well as expected, the neighbours now think I am a cat murderer and there is enough fur floating about the yard to knit a new cat.
A good cat.
Weekend spent doing stuff, much stuff. Things were bought, commissions finished, things were taken to the tip, to the charity shop.
Only failure was buying a train ticket - this has to be done at the train station to use the vouchers I got from Virgin for buggering up a journey, can't be done on line, but the computer at the train station was not playing ball and couldn't find the tickets I wanted. Will try again next week, hopefully before all the cheap ones go.
Did the usual Sunday walk but decided that I wasn't done when it came to turn for home so I did an extra couple of miles. 9.3 in total, and it didn't feel at all far, foot hurty but not as hurty as it can be. Very hot and sunny, lovely day.
Listening/watching Bollywood Carmen (needs more Bizet, gov) while I wait for Max to forgive me.
