Packing...
Apr. 21st, 2013 03:33 pmUnfeasibly large amount of clothing packed for nine days in Wales in late April.
The problem being, of course, that is is nine day in Wales in late April.
If I was going to Bermuda or to Iceland or to India, I would know what the weather would be like. As I am going to Wales in April, I have packed wet weather clothes, dry weather clothes, warm weather clothes and cold weather clothes. The weather, of course, will be all of the above.
No walk today, podiatrists orders, though I have been on my feet a fair bit, enough that the right one is aching because I haven't been wearing the orthotics in the house. Cleaning the kitchen, emptying cat litter, cleared out the wood burner and hearth, chased Genghis Kitten off (he's clever enough to have realised if he agitates the locked cat flap enough so it swings back, he can get his paw under and then in) with watering can about 20 times.
I have specialist cat wranglers coming in while I'm away (
asphodeline and
johnw) to check if Max has been traumatized or if they have broken the cat flap again. This is as well as his cat feeding duo from over the road. Max is a spoiled brat, he should have boxed Genghis' ears when he was little.
Now about to start a couple of commissions, but it's started raining again, so I'd best nip out and get the washing in first.
