So I was out in it from just after 10am to nigh on 5.30.

First stop, M&S for a bra fitting, down two back sizes, up one cup size but I had to order a couple as they didn't have any in black and it's daft for me to buy any other colour. They should be in tomorrow but I don't think I'll be able to pick them up until next Saturday, unless I make a special trip out there.
Had to wait around for bra lady to be free and then at the ordering till, but it's a Saturday morning, so I expected that.

Usual bimble through town, visited card shop on market to stock up on birthday/get well/sympathy card for Mum to send, they have them at 4 for a pound, so I bought her a few as they're putting up the price to 3 for a pound soon.
Trolled through the charity shops, only purchase, a beautiful lambswool beanie hat for £1, will need a wash but was far too good quality to ignore.

Liquid acrylics for painting Eastercon stock from the art shop, the owners are elderly, I fear it will close when they want to retire. Picked up a parcel from the post office; eight boxes to be done for Easter, itching to get at them (it's like getting a new game if you are a gamer, or new wool/fabric if you are a knitter/sewer, you can't wait to get started.

Beans on toast and tea at the Melting Pot for lunch at 12.30 then dropped all the shopping back at the car and changed into walking boots, up to Marbury, round back via Anderton, rather large cat sat on the padded join of the steam pipe (where previously I'd seen a black cat) must be soft and warm. Tabby and white and there was yellow stains, like cow muck on the white. Very large cat, I'm assuming a lost girl, but she showed no interest in coming to me. Stray cats always fret me.

Tescos for the rest of the weekly shop then a long wait at the car wash, it was busy, the cars are all filthy and the machine was acting up for the guy before me and then for me. Had to get the staff to help get it working.

Called at Argos on the way home for a canister for the soda stream (currently £2 off) and some perfume for Mum from the Next next door.

All told, 8.6 miles.

So home at 17.30, rather peckish, now waiting for the last of the Howard Goodall series on music, just after nine, nursing a glass of wine, Max curled up beside me. But that box 'o boxes of wood is calling to me...

Tomorrow, a shorter, 7 mile walk in the morning and then painting pyrography in the afternoon while I have the light.
