Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite T.V show

I don't really have a favourite episode of Life on Mars; I liked the whole package.

My favouite episode of DS9 was 'Duet' - stunning commentary on war, war crimes and guilt for a middle of the road, safe TV show. All the more impressive because it was in the show's first season, when it was still finding its feet. Harris Yulin and Nana Visitor were just brilliant and the writing simply shone out as what TV SF can do when it puts its heart into it.(aide memoire - the one about the filing clerk who wants Kira to think he was Rudolf Höss)

Closely followed by 'In The Pale Moonlight' - about as dark as Trek ever gets, fabulous acting from Avery Brooks and Andrew Robinson, Garak of course, is always worth watching. Clever, sharp, witty and complicated. Both Garak and the plot. And good TV. (aide memoire - Sisko wants to get the Romulans involved in the war and finds out that if you get in bed with the devil, you will be having sex. "It's a faaaaaake!")
